Putting My Experience to Work
As a policeman, I have helped and protected the public from criminals for 34 years. I have also been a prosecutor in the magistrate’s, children’s & domestic violence courts and a specialist fraud detective. I am a fighter against corruption and am very experienced at investigating, questioning, scrutinising and holding people accountable.

Born in Ballarat, I am an independent candidate with integrity, common sense, reliability and a practical, no-nonsense approach. Being a councilor is about community service, not being a politician. Local Issues not politics. Most people are dissatisfied with the council's performance, not delivering on its core functions properly.

Council needs to prioritise, using our money wisely, instead they are wasting our money on things that we don’t want or need, without real consultation. I want the council to deliver what the community wants: back to basics, roads, rates, rubbish, footpaths, free parking, drains, elderly, disability and youth services, parks and gardens, public safety, street cleaning, small business, sporting facilities & public amenities. no junkets. The silent majority matters.
When elected, I will represent the best interests of the community. I will scrutinise, ask questions and hold them accountable for delivering on what we want.
Vote 1 Damon Saunders.
